Fabricio Medici

Professor Fabricio Medici, a 4th-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt, has over 20 years of experience teaching and mentoring students of all ages. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, he began his martial arts journey in Judo and Karate before earning his BJJ black belt under Professor Givanildo Santana.

An accomplished competitor, Professor Medici has competed extensively, including two podium finishes at the prestigious Pan American Jiu-Jitsu Championship. He is also a globally recognized referee, serving as a head referee for organizations like IBJJF, ADCC, AJP, and events like Kasai Grappling and Karate Combat.

Beyond his achievements on the mats, Professor Medici is a devoted husband of over 20 years and a proud father of three, all of whom train in BJJ. Rooted in Christian values, he brings a family-centered, positive approach to teaching.

Now leading Elementum JJ Oviedo in Florida, Professor Medici is passionate about sharing his knowledge and helping students of all ages build confidence, discipline, and community through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
